Can you believe that January is already halfway over, y’all? This year is going to go by so quickly, I can just feel it in my bones. Well, I suppose as long as I have some good reads to speed along with me, I’ll just hop on for the ride and enjoy myself. Let’s take a look at what I swept up this week:

I’m reading A Letter of Mary right now – it’s the third book in the Mary Russell & Sherlock Holmes series, which I just discovered and am LOVING. Black Lake has been on my radar for quite a while, as has The People of Forever Are Not Afraid AND How to Be An American Housewife. All the Birds, Singing received good reviews from two of my Goodreads friends whom I trust implicitly – also, this one came from the actual local library, too, y’all. An actual paper book? Oh, my…
