Library Love is a recurring post in which I share the weekly bounty from my public libraries.
It was a light week at the online libraries, y’all, and the only books I checked out were ones that had already been on hold for me for quite a while. Not a lot has struck my fancy lately, I suppose, and I haven’t been able to take much time to browse at the local library, either. Therefore, it is a small haul that I bring to you all today:
- The One & Only by Emily Giffin
- The Signature of All Things by Elizabeth Gilbert
- The Farm by Tom Rob Smith
I’ve been anxiously awaiting The One & Only for a while now – yes, I admit it, I’m a former chick lit fan and I still follow a couple of my old fave authors. I’ve been meaning to read The Signature of All Things for just about forever, so it’s high time I got started on it. The Farm looks quite tantalizing, if you ask me, and I’m looking forward to delving in and finding out what all the fuss has been about. Other than that, y’all, it’s been a slow week on the old homestead. Stick around and next week we’ll be back with Library Love, Junior Edition!
Are there any genres that you used to be a fan of but grew out of or no longer read for some other reason?
